Dufour Catamarans 44 Sail
The Dufour Catamarans 44 Sail presents a perfect balance between the deck plan, the cockpit space, roof and bow deck divided by 1/3 of the total length.
The wide portion of the roof sets it apart from other models in its category and provides the impression of a very spacious living area. Indeed, it is a testament to a well-balanced design in terms of outdoor and indoor spaces, developed to offer maximum comfort in all seasons.
In the front section, there are two exceptional sunbathing areas, separated by a spacious storage box and the anchor well.

Interior spaces
Thanks to the forward position of the mast, there are no obstacles between the large L-shaped kitchen, the chart table facing the sea, and the salon, making it an ideal and accessible space. There is ample storage space, and the kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances. An electric sliding window on the coachroof allows direct communication between the saloon, the galley, and the forward sunbathing area.

Outdoor Spaces
The spacious cockpit area is the heart of the boat and serves as a central gathering place for friends and family. The various lounge and relaxation areas can accommodate up to eight people. The grill station is integrated into the bench, allowing the chef to be part of the fun and not confined indoors.
Sliding doors and windows in the deckhouse connect the cockpit area with the kitchen and salon, enabling easy communication. The floor openings in the cockpit provide ample storage space, while the engine and service areas are easily accessible through large hatches in the engine room. The hydraulic platform, available as an option, serves as a lift for dinghies or as a floating beach.

Cruising
To ensure maximum safety and maneuverability, the mast has been positioned aft on the centerline of the boat to balance the weights and reduce tension on the mainsail. The larger foresails provide new possibilities, particularly the use of a self-tacking jib, as large as a genoa.
